Lamar Computer Lab

The computer lab at Lamar Elementary is a place for our children to learn foundational, technological skills that will benefit them throughout their lives. In the lab, they are encouraged to use technology to apply and incorporate lessons that they learn in their classrooms with creativity, individuality, and imagination.

 

Our lab is equipped with a computer for every child in class. IPads are also available for student use.  This interactive whiteboard has proven to be a great teaching tool, engaging students with its vivid images, video, and audio. 

 

In class, students typically focus on improving their keyboarding skills and learning to use a mouse.  In doing so, they are acquainted, early on, with the tools they will need to succeed.  We use a variety of programs for valuable learning experiences.
