MWISD Mental Health Hotline Info

At Mineral Wells ISD, students’ academic growth is important; however, mental health and safety is our primary focus. MWISD has a number of resources available to assist any student struggling with sadness, anger, anxiety, and or frustration. The Mineral Wells ISD Crisis Hotline is available Monday through Friday from 10 am to 5 pm. If your student calls the Mineral Wells ISD Crisis Hotline during these times, they will be connected to a Mineral Wells ISD School Counselor. The number for the Mineral Wells ISD Crisis Hotline is 940-327-5124. If students are in crisis outside of these times, they are encouraged to call Pecan Valley Centers of Palo Pinto County at 1-800-772-5987. If students call the Mineral Wells ISD Crisis Hotline outside the hours of 10 am to 5 pm, they will be automatically forwarded to the 24-hour Pecan Valley Centers of Palo Pinto County. Students can also text H O M E to the number 741741 and a live, trained crisis counselor will respond.
